For more than a century, the Oriental Watchman Publishing House has been serving the Seventh-day Adventist community through books, magazines, and other Christian literature.

Established in India in the early 1900s, OWPH today operates its own printing facilities in Pune, continuing a longstanding tradition of producing literature that informs, inspires, and strengthens faith.

The house found its permanent home in Pune in 1924. The work began in Calcutta, then Karmatar and Lucknow, and has printed spiritual, health, and educational literature for Southern Asia ever since.

About Us

A Publishing Legacy Rooted in Faith

The Oriental Watchman Publishing House traces its origins to the early Adventist publishing work in India, which began in Calcutta in the late 19th century. What started with a small printing ministry grew into an established publishing house serving the Seventh-day Adventist Church across India and beyond.

After operating in Calcutta, Karmatar, and Lucknow, the publishing house moved to Pune in 1924, where it continues its publishing and printing operations today.

With its own printing facilities and decades of experience in book and literature production, OWPH remains committed to making quality Christian literature accessible to readers.
